REQUEST HELP
Several financial parameters must be met in order to qualify for help from H4H. 1). Residents must own the home (no rentals or land contracts).
2). They must have home insurance.
3). Residents need to be willing to help if possible.
Several forms also must be filled out for financial verification and sent to Gary Kempf at gkempf@sterling.edu.
We work within a pre-set financial limit for each project. However, under extenuating circumstances, the board may approve a higher range. Once the board approves a project, the work is done by volunteers while each project is supervised by a board member. Licensed professionals are used when necessary or mandated and all projects are run under a general contractor's license. Many of our projects are overseen by Jeff Thomson from Interfaith Housing.
